About German Program “Ausbildung”

The program “Ausbildung” is an official program of the German government for vocational schooling or equivalent Diploma III (D III) and apprenticeship work in Germany. There are several training options students can choose from (Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Hotel Service).

There is no school fee to be paid to participate in the program in Germany. The participants will receive a training subsidy of 1.100 Euro per month for the duration of the program in Germany.

The program consists of 30% theoretical schooling and 70% practical training. The school itself lasts 6 hours per day and the practical training at a training company lasts 8 hours per day. The participating schools are all public government schools with focus on vocational education.

All trainers are certified professionals following the German curriculum and international standards. The German Chamber of Commerce is the examination body, appointed by the German Government.
